Leaseholder obligations
Residents have a range of obligations that are specified in the Lease, these include:
- SALE OR SUB-LETTING: The consent of the lessee is
required prior to completing the sale or letting of a
property. Consent will not be given if there are any
arrears of charges of breaches of covenants have
occurred. 'For Sale' or To Let' boards may only be
affixed to specified parts of the property.
- ALTERATION, REPAIRS AND DECORATION: Consent is
required before any alterations to properties may be
undertaken. Redecoration must be undertaken at regular
intervals.
- PETS: Consent is required before any pet may be kept
on the premises, permission may be revoked if the pet
causes any nuisance.
- BICYCLES AND OTHER BELONGINGS: Bicycles may not be
brought into any of the buildings, they may only be
stored in the bicycle store. No items may be stored in
any of the common areas.
- LARGE VEHICLES: Restrictions apply to the size of
any vehicle that may be parked in any of the car parking
areas.
- NOISE: Residents are required to avoid causing any
form of noise nuisance to other residents.
- SATELLITE DISHES AND AERIALS: Residents are not
permitted to fix any satellite dishes or aerials to
their property, they may only use the communal
facilities provided.
- WASHING AND WINDOW BOXES: Residents are not permitted to hang out washing from their property or to fix any window boxes.
